In the first half of this year, 30 Steel Bins were handed over to Cooperativa Agrícola de Campo Mourão (Coamo) - one of the largest in Brazil - to be installed in the several units of the Cooperative. The new equipment will increase the storage capacity by approximately 175 thousand tons of grains, which correspond to 2.190 million sacks, besides allowing a more agile, secure storage. Congratulations to Coamo and its associates.

ARMCO is providing a Grain Conveyor line to Cooperativa Central Regional Iguaçú (Cotriguaçú), in the Port of Paranaguá. The facilities, under implementation phase, include conveyor belts and elevators with capacity for 1,500 tons/hour, which will make the grain flow through the port even more efficient and quick. The new equipment will be operating by the end of the year.

By SMA representative, in Maringá (PR), ARMCO STACO is handing over eight bins to Yoki Alimentos' new unit, in Campo Novo dos Parecis (MT). With initial capacity to store 11,600 tons of grains, the unit will be used for storage of corn for human consumption (popcorn).

A new, complete post-forming hot-dip galvanization line has been recently created by ARMCO STACO, turning it into one of the largest Brazilian companies in galvanizing capacity. This process consists in forming steel plates and their components prior to galvanization, which ensures a perfect covering of the material used and full protection to the product. This service is also provided to third parties.
